Casey Kotchman was informed by the Marlins that he will make the Opening Day roster. It has become increasingly apparent in recent days, but the Marlins made it official on Tuesday. Kotchman has enjoyed a solid spring and should see the majority of the starts at first base until Logan Morrison is ready to return from knee surgery. He's a decent short-term play in NL-only leagues.
