Casey Kotchman sliced his left ring finger on a pop fly machine Monday afternoon in Marlins camp. Kotchman needed four stitches but should be back in action within the next couple of days. The 29-year-old first baseman signed a minor league contract with the Fish earlier this month and is hoping to win a bench spot.
