Casey Kotchman (hamstring) will be placed on the 15-day disabled list Friday. Kotchman suffered a left hamstring strain in Wednesday night's game against the Nationals. Gregg Dobbs is filling in for him at first base on Thursday and could keep that starting gig for the next two or three weeks.
