St. Louis Cardinals catcher Carson Kelly was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a strained hamstring. Kelly was called up when starting catcher Yadier Molina had to head to the disabled list himself. Kelly wasn't off to a good start however, slashing just .111/.158/.111 in eight games. The severity of the hamstring strain is not yet known, but Kelly could be back in a couple of weeks if it is a minor strain.
