Carrasco has been diagnosed with a non-displaced fracture of the fifth metacarpal in his right hand, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
He took a line drive off his hand early Saturday, forcing him from the game after a mere two pitches. Although the fracture is non-displaced, it's still the type of injury that figures to keep Carrasco out for the remainder of the regular season, and likely the postseason as well. That said, the Indians are not currently offering up a timetable for Carrasco's return.
