Carrasco allowed three runs on 10 hits, he did not walk a hitter, and struck out five over 6.2 innings of a 4-1 loss to Tampa Bay on Friday night. Carrasco (8-6, 4.35 ERA) has been a bit of an enigma this season. He has the eight wins, and he maintains a very good 90:18 K:BB ratio, however he is often too hittable, and those hits frequently come at very inopportune times, resulting in the disappointing ERA. He showed the potential he has late last season, and fantasy owners will hope to see that kind of performance again soon.
