Carrasco (14-12) was bombed for five runs on five hits and two walks in just three innings against the Twins en route to a loss in Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader.
EDGE Analysis
That's an ugly end to what was mostly a successful season for Carrasco; although he didn't come close to replicating last year's 2.55 ERA -- 3.63 is this season's final mark -- he put up 216 strikeouts and only 43 walks in 183.2 innings spanning 30 starts. As he's traditionally a much better second-half than first-half pitcher, fantasy owners may be best served letting someone else draft Carrasco next year, then picking him up on the cheap sometime in June or July.
