Carrasco (11-8) allowed five runs (four earned) on eight hits and a walk over 3.2 innings in a loss Monday to the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Carrasco has been excellent for much of the season, as he has a 3.32 ERA and 150 strikeouts over 146.1 innings. But he has been prone to short starts like Monday's -- this marks the fifth time in 24 starts Carrasco has pitched four or fewer innings. Carrasco's stuff is as good as almost anybody's in the majors -- his inconsistency is the only thing holding him back from contending for the Cy Young award.
