Carrasco (10-6) struck out 13 and allowed only one run on one hit and two walks in 8.2 innings against the Rays on Wednesday.
Carrasco came within one strike of throwing the Cleveland Indians' first no-hitter since 1981, but Joey Butler lined an 0-2 pitch for an RBI single that ended Carrasco's night. The 28-year-old threw a career-high 124 pitches and retired the first 19 batters before losing his perfect game when he walked Butler in the seventh. He'll take the mound again in his next scheduled start Monday against the Astros.
