Carpenter (illness) remains out of the lineup Sunday against the Reds, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Carpenter, as well as teammate Matt Adams, is dealing with a "bug" that kept him out of action Saturday. It's unknown whether Carpenter will be available off the bench Sunday night, but the team will likely hold him out to rest up, if possible.
