Carlos Quentin received a cortisone shot in his right knee Tuesday. Quentin has been shut down from his rehab assignment after experiencing soreness in his surgically-repaired knee last week. He should be able to resume it in a few days if the shot takes the desired effect, and a return before the end of the month still remains possible.
