Carlos Quentin (knee) will join Class-A Lake Elsinore later this week as he continues his rehab assignment. Quentin will be in San Diego Monday to get checked up. After that, he will continue his rehab assignment. The outfielder underwent arthroscopic surgery on March 19 to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. Padres manager Bud Black won't speculate on when Quentin might be ready to return to the San Diego lineup.
