Carlos Quentin (knee) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Tucson Tuesday. Padres manager Bud Black said Quentin will play at least seven games for Tucson before being activated. The outfielder underwent arthroscopic surgery on March 19 to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee, so, in addition to testing out the knee, he needs to get his timing down.
