Carlos Quentin (knee) went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer, three RBI and three runs scored in a rehab appearance Friday for High-A Lake Elsinore. Quentin has had multiple setbacks to his surgically-repaired right knee, but looks to be trending in the right direction. The Padres have yet to put a timetable on his return. A best-case scenario would have Quentin coming off the disabled list sometime in June.
