Carlos Quentin (knee) went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run Tuesday in his first minor league rehab game with Triple-A Tucson. Quentin served as the designated hitter in his first game back from knee surgery. He'll likely need to play multiple games in the outfield before coming off the disabled list, so we don't expect him to make his Padres' debut until late next week at the earliest. This would be a smart time to stash him in a deeper mixed league, though.
