Carlos Quentin (knee) is not in the Padres' lineup Tuesday. Quentin is dealing with more soreness in his surgically-repaired knee. He's expected to be available off the bench before returning to the lineup Wednesday, but there's no guarantee that the knee will be close to 100 percent anytime soon. Quentin is likely to be used in the DH spot for upcoming interleague series against the Rays and Orioles.
