Carlos Quentin (knee) is headed to the Padres' spring training complex in Arizona to resume baseball-related activities. It's not a good sign when you go from playing in rehab games to performing drills in extended spring, but at least Quentin will be active again. The outfielder had a cortisone shot in his surgically-repaired right knee last week after experiencing a setback. He's without a timetable.
