Carlos Quentin (knee) is 7-10 days away from Cactus League action. The Padres are taking it slowly with Quentin this spring after he underwent arthroscopic knee surgery at the end of last season. He's expected to be used in the DH spot initially this spring but isn't in danger of missing Opening Day.
