Carlos Quentin is eligible to return from his eight-game suspension Tuesday night against the Brewers. Quentin was handed the suspension after he charged the mound when he was hit by a pitch by Dodgers' right-hander Zack Greinke on April 11. "I'm ready to resume baseball," said Quentin. "I hope it's behind us. I know it's probably going to come up at times, but for me, it's behind me." The veteran outfielder used his time away from the Padres to work on his swing and strengthen his knees.
