Carlos Quentin has been suspended eight games by Major League Baseball and also been fined an undisclosed amount of money for charging the mound against Zack Greinke on Thursday night. Quentin plans on appealing his suspension. If the entirety of the suspension is upheld, he wouldn't return until April 22 against the Dodgers. Look for Jesus Guzman and Chris Denorfia to see increased playing time in the Padres' outfield once Quentin serves his punishment.
