Carlos Quentin has been scratched from the Padres starting lineup for Friday's contest against the Diamondbacks. No word yet has been given as to the reason for the late scratch, but the oft-injured outfielder has dealt with his share of ailments already this season. The team should provide an update on his status shortly, but it certainly wouldn't be surprising to see him forced back to the disabled list.
