Carlos Gonzalez will undergo exploratory surgery on his left index finger Tuesday. More will be known about a potential timetable when it's discovered what exactly needs to be fixed, but obviously this is a big blow for the Rockies no matter what. CarGo has been dealing with swelling in the finger since early May before finally being placed on the disabled list last Wednesday. Corey Dickerson will continue to serve as the left field while Gonzalez is on the shelf.
