The Chicago Cubs have promoted outfielder Carlos Gonzalez to the big league roster. Gonzalez signed with the Cubs this past week and got some at-bats for Triple-A Iowa. Gonzalez will start on Monday in right field and bat fifth. The former All-Star was only hitting .210 with a pair of home runs in 117 at-bats with the Indians before being cut loose by them last week.
