Carlos Gonzalez (finger) will try to take batting practice Friday. He was unable to do so Wednesday due to his sprained right middle finger. Gonzalez was activated from the disabled list Tuesday but is limited to being a defensive replacement at this point. It's possible that will be his only role for the rest of the season. "It's so frustrating," said Gonzalez. "But it's all I can do right now."
