Carlos Gonzalez (finger) said Thursday that he's hoping to be activated prior to the All-Star break. If he doesn't return before the end of the first half, he'll be back for the start of the second half. CarGo took batting practice on Thursday for the first time since landing on the disabled list and said his surgically-repaired finger feels good. The slugger was hitting .255/.307/.449 over 52 games before the injury but should improve upon that line with his finger no longer an issue.
