Carl Pavano (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment Tuesday with the Twins' Gulf Coast League team. Pavano, who is scheduled to throw two innings in the appearance, has been throwing bullpen sessions for a few weeks now with no issues. He's looking at a late August/early September return if all goes well.
