Capuano (quad) will start a rehab assignment with High-A Tampa on Saturday, The Westchester Journal News reports. Capuano has been throwing in extended spring games and is slated to throw four innings or 60 pitches Saturday. Manager Joe Girardi indicated that the lefty may only need three minor league rehab starts before rejoining the big league club, so it's possible Capuano can return mid-to-late May and slot into the open rotation spot created by the injury to Masahiro Tanaka.
