Proctor was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday.

Proctor was traded from the Rays to the Giants at the beginning of August and will make his major-league debut Saturday against Arizona. He's starting at the keystone and batting eighth against the Diamondbacks and will likely have a chance to carve out playing time in the big leagues after Luis Gonzalez (back) was placed on the 10-day injured list.
