Davis was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Monday.

Davis served as a reserve outfielder for the Yankees earlier in the month but was sent down Wednesday. He appeared in three games during his brief stint in the minors and went 3-for-12 with a homer, three runs, three RBI and a stolen base. The 29-year-old will fill a depth role for the major-league club once again.
