Valdez had his contract selected from Triple-A Salt Lake by the Angels on Monday, Sarah Valenzuela of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Valdez was added to the roster after the Angels placed Jose Suarez on the injured list with a left shoulder injury. Suarez will likely be a low-leverage option while with the Angels while working in the middle innings.
