Plummer was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Plummer had a brief stint with the major-league club in mid-April, and he went 0-for-1 over two games. However, the 25-year-old will provide outfield depth for the Mets after Travis Jankowski (hand) was placed on the 10-day injured list. Plummer has appeared in 24 games in Syracuse this year and has hit .250 with six homers, five doubles, 21 RBI, 12 runs and two stolen bases.
