Cain (elbow) threw a 40-pitch bullpen session Friday and he felt healthy coming out of it, CSN Bay Area reports.Cain underwent two procedures in 2014, one to remove bone chips in his throwing elbow and another to remove a bone spur in his ankle. Friday's bullpen session was the first public work Cain has done since being shut down last year. He said that he felt "pretty much full speed" and that it was the "best (his) arm strength has felt." This is a great sign for Cain, as there were questions regarding how well he would throw returning from injury. Assuming he keeps a clean bill of health during spring training, Cain should be on track for a bounce-back season in 2015.
