Cain (cyst) threw on flat ground Wednesday, doing long toss and mixing in some breaking balls while pitching out of the stretch, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Cain had a cyst removed from his right arm in late February, which has hampered him during the early stages of spring training. It's good to see that he was able to throw without issue, as it appears he's steadily progressing through his rehab from the injury.
