Cabrera has officially agreed on a one-year deal with the Orioles and will report to camp Tuesday, Brittany Ghiroli of Orioles.com reports. The deal in place is valued at $2.4 million for one year with up to $600K in incentives. Cabrera will likely serve as a utility infielder during his stint in Baltimore, although there's a possibility that he could take over duties at second base from Jonathan Schoop. Before this happens, however, he'll have to settle an outstanding issue from September regarding driving under the influence of marijuana. Without a clear spot in the starting lineup and potential time off the field looming, Cabrera is a risky option to invest in at this point in the preseason.
