Byrd hit his second homer of the season in Tuesday's win over the Brewers. Both of Byrd's homers have come against the Brewers' Kyle Lohse. Against everyone else he has just two extra-base hits this month, somehow providing the Reds even less offense from left field than they got last season. That's likely to change, but one of the reasons why they've hovered around .500.
