Buster Olney of ESPN.com reports that the asking prices for free agent starters Roy Oswalt, Hiroki Kuroda and Edwin Jackson "have come down significantly."
Olney says Oswalt is now looking for $8 million and Kuroda is ready to settle for a $10-11 million pact. He doesn't list the new asking price for Jackson, who had reportedly been looking for $15 million per season on a multi-year deal. It's inevitable (especially in Jackson's case) that prices start to drop at this time of the year, as teams want to lock players in before spring training. Oswalt dealt with back issues in 2011 but would be a nice gamble on an $8 million deal.
