Buchholz allowed four earned runs over five innings in Thursday's loss to the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
While Buchholz wasn't dealt with the loss Thursday, the bulk of the Reds' runs were scored while he was on the mound. Over those five innings he allowed seven hits and walked two batters, while striking out just three. The 2016 season saw Buchholz take a major step back, as he was moved to a bullpen role and finished the year with a 4.78 ERA and 1.33 WHIP. Although he's back in a starting rotation, outings such as Thursday's will only take away from his already-low fantasy value.
