Broxton, working in the seventh inning with a lead for the first time this season, threw a clean frame in Sunday's victory over the Diamondbacks. Manager Craig Counsell removed Broxton from the setup role after he served up a go-ahead home run in Friday's game, and used Jeremy Jeffress in that role Sunday for the first time this year. Jeffress allowed a game-tying home run himself, but Broxton does not figure to immediately reclaim the setup role. Jeffress has been the more consistent of the two this season, so it seems likely Counsell will give him another shot to protect the lead next time the Brewers are trying to hold an eighth-inning lead.
