Broxton has allowed two earned runs in four innings (4.50 ERA) while posting a 5:0 K:BB ratio in four appearances out of the Brewers' bullpen. Broxton gave up a two-run moon shot to the Rockies' Carlos Gonzalez in his second outing of the season, but he has pitched well outside of that appearance. He is the Brewers' setup man in front of Francisco Rodriguez, and would almost certainly take over the closer's duties should Rodriguez falter or suffer an injury.
