Brian McCann will sit out Friday's game after tweaking his left foot during Thursday's win over the Twins. McCann felt pain in the foot while pushing out of the box on a fifth-inning single. He was able to stay in the game after being checked on by the trainer, but with three day games in a row coming up, the Yankees didn't want to push it. "Pushing off in the box, it was my first step, it grabbed, it pinched," said McCann. "It hurt, so we just wanted to make sure nothing was seriously wrong."
