Brian McCann (oblique) felt good taking batting practice on the field Monday. He didn't "turn it loose," but this was certainly a step in the right direction. McCann doesn't want to put a timetable on anything, but said it is possible he could return Friday if he is able to play in rehab games on Wednesday and Thursday. How he feels Tuesday will obviously go a long way towards nailing down a timeline.
