Brian McCann blasted a three-run homer off of Cole Hamels, leading the Braves to a 6-1 victory over the Phillies on Friday. It was his only hit in four trips to the plate in the game, but provided the critical blow. McCann has been on an absolute tear in the month of July, hitting .305 (18-for-59) with eight homers and 19 RBI in 17 games. When healthy, he remains one of the top-five offensive catchers in the league.
