Brian Matusz has been removed from the starting rotation. Matusz gave up five runs over just 1 1/3 innings Monday against the Yankees and now has a 9.84 ERA over 10 starts in the majors this season. The Orioles haven't ruled out giving him another start before the end of the season, but the young left-hander will try to work through his struggles out of the bullpen for now.
