Brewers right-handed pitching prospect Jimmy Nelson struck out nine batters in seven shutout innings, allowing two hits and one walk for Triple-A Nashville. Nelson sports a 1.80 ERA with a 0.800 WHIP and 9.0 K/9 through his first four starts of the season. The Brewers rotation is currently pitching out of this world, so Nelson will have to wait for an injury or an extreme regression to the mean. Nelson projects as having the upside of a mid-rotation starter.
