Brewers purchased the contract of RHP Jimmy Nelson from Triple-A Nashville. Nelson, 24, had a 3.67 ERA over 15 starts at the Triple-A level and is considered one of the Brewers' top pitching prospects. He'll be used in a middle relief role initially, but could eventually be moved to the starting rotation.
