Brewers placed LHP Chris Narveson on the 15-day disabled list with a left thumb laceration. Narveson sliced his thumb open while trying to repair his glove. He needed eight stitches to close the wound, but Brewers manager Ron Roenicke anticipates the left-handed needing only the minimum amount of time on the DL. Narveson will have to wait 7-10 days before he can throw after the stitches are removed. "I still think there's going to be some healing there and some soreness, so we'll see how that feels once he's able to go out and throw a ball," Roenicke said.
