Brett Myers pitched decently in a losing effort against his former team on Friday, surrendering three runs on five hits over five frames. All of the damage against him came in the second inning, where J.D. Martinez blasted a two-run homer, which was immediately followed by a solo shot from Rick Ankiel. Myers settled in nicely afterwards though, and did enough to keep his team in the game. He'll carry an 8.02 ERA into Wednesday's start against the White Sox in Chicago, where he'll again attempt to earn his first win as an Indian.
