Brett Myers is scheduled to throw off a mound Friday for the first time since hitting the disabled list. Myers has been out since April 21 with a mild tear of the ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow. That type of injury usually requires surgery, but the 32-year-old right-hander is hoping to pitch through it. There is no timetable for his return to Cleveland.
