Brett Myers has been diagnosed with a mild tear of the ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow. That type of injury can often lead to Tommy John surgery, but it's not a consideration at this time. Myers was officially placed on the 15-day disabled list Sunday and won't pick up a baseball for the next two weeks. There is obviously no timetable for his return.
