Brett Myers (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Akron on Friday. Myers is slated to throw three innings, so he'll obviously need a few rehab outings before rejoining the Indians' rotation. The right-hander has a mild tear of the UCL in his elbow but is trying to pitch through it.
